Think your pizza is the best? Prove it at Pizza Pizzazz!

NAPICS is home to Pizza Pizzazz, the world’s largest and highest-paying pizza-making competition. In 2009, big cash awards will again be on the line for pizza makers eager to prove theirs is the best pie around. Past winners claim their victories and the ensuing publicity launched their sales to unmatched heights.

At NAPICS 2009, 150 pizza makers will compete in two categories, Gourmet and Traditional, held Feb. 22 and Feb. 23 respectively. In each round, 75 contestants will make their best pies and submit them to a panel of trained judges who will grade them on taste, appearance and marketability. Six finalists will be chosen to bake their best pies again to determine the category’s top three winners.

While the competition is keen, many competitors say they’ve formed some of their best industry friendships through Pizza Pizzazz. Others call the event an invaluable networking opportunity and return to the contest annually to make new contacts.
